No one is immune to the stream of information about “Zombie Apocalypses” happening all over the country. As baffling as it is, every few days there is another “unbelievable” story released about a person eating human or K9 flesh. It is no surprise that many products, companies, and organizations are using these attacks (and the fear that comes with them) to their advantage, and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is no exception. PETA is talking with advertisers to have this billboard placed in Waco, the town of the most recent attack of a family pet:

PETA's proposed billboard
PETA hopes to raise awareness by using this event to inspire people to think about animal cruelty and see the benefits of going vegan, which we support fully, but we aren’t so sure this is the right way to do it.
Is it bad taste, or is it an intelligent way to relate current events to an audience for a greater good?
